Open Enrollment Information
Open Enrollment takes place annually and provides eligible employees the opportunity to review and make changes to their benefit elections. During this period, you may:

Choose a different medical and/or prescription plan

Add or remove eligible dependents
-
Enroll in coverage if newly eligible under the District’s plans
-
Waive existing coverage
Important:
Outside of Open Enrollment, changes to your benefits can only be made if you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, or loss of other coverage.
To take advantage of this enrollment opportunity, you must submit your request within 30 days of the qualifying event.
